233D Transmitter Restoration Project
 
The Center Rack contain the main RF section. It uses a pair of 450TLs that are driven by a brace of 813s.

This rack also contains several AutotuneĀ®-driven assembles. The stages from the exciter through the PA to the antenna tuner were automatically re-positioned to the exact location for each frequency assigned to Western Airways' communication department.

All the operator had to do was: dial the channel number, wait a moment, and the transmitter was good-to-go for the next aircraft contact.
